Itinerary

08:00 AM – Hotel Pickup

Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Cambodian countryside, passing rice fields, traditional villages, and local markets on the way to Phnom Kulen Mountain.

9:30 AM – Phnom Kulen National Park Entrance

Arrive at the entrance of Phnom Kulen National Prak and learn about the historical and cultural important of this sacred mountain, known as the birthplace of the Khmer Empire. Continue the journey with a scenic drive up to the mountaintop, surrounded by lush forests and beautiful natural landscapes

10:45 AM – River of 1,000 Lingas

Explore the sacred riverbed carved with ancient Hindu symbols and lingas dating back to the Angkor period. Learn about the spiritual significance of these carvings and their connection to the Khmer Empire.

11:30 AM – Preah Ang Thom

Visit the famous giant reclining Buddha carved from a massive sandstone boulder. This active pilgrimage site offers insight into Cambodian Buddhist traditions and beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding forest.

12:30 PM – Lunch Break

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the waterfall area (at your own expense).

we had an exceptional day with Sarak. Entered the day with zero expectations, we were blown away with his knowledge of the area, local history and the excellent places we visited. from koulen waterfalls, to the Buddha temple and ancient sacred temple and carving under water. it was capped off with a restaurant meal which was first rate.
