Phnom Kulen Adventure Tour – River of 1,000 Lingas

Awesome Guide and a truly memorable experience! Sarak made my solo trip to Siem Reap unforgettable. He picked me up right from the airport, and from that first ride it was clear he genuinely loves sharing his country's history and culture. We started with sunrise at Angkor Wat, followed by the Small Circuit — his knowledge of the temples' history and architecture was incredible, and he paced the day perfectly so I never felt rushed. We also went out to Beng Mealea, and exploring those mossy, jungle-swallowed ruins with him was a completely different experience from the more polished sites — he clearly knew the place inside and out. One of my favorite days was hiking to Kbal Spean to see the River of a Thousand Lingas — a spot I wouldn't have known to ask for, but Sarak suggested it and it ended up being a highlight. What really set him apart, though, was that he didn't just stick to temples. He arranged for me to see the circus and a night at the Apsara theater, rounding out the trip with a real taste of Cambodian culture beyond the archaeology. He's flexible, easygoing, and clearly wants you to leave with more than just photos of temples. we had an exceptional day with Sarak. Entered the day with zero expectations, we were blown away with his knowledge of the area, local history and the excellent places we visited. from koulen waterfalls, to the Buddha temple and ancient sacred temple and carving under water. it was capped off with a restaurant meal which was first rate.
