- Start with Angkor Wat
- Begin your day exploring the grand Angkor Wat. Walk through its long galleries, admire the carvings, and climb up to see the central towers.
This way, you experience its beauty early before it gets too hot and crowded.
Continue to Ta Prohm
- Head to the atmospheric Ta Prohm, the temple embraced by giant tree roots.
Enjoy walking through its shaded courtyards and narrow passages.
Move to Angkor Thom
- Enter Angkor Thom through the South Gate, with its impressive stone figures.
- Visit Bayon Temple with its many smiling stone faces.
- Explore Baphuon Temple, a restored pyramid temple.
- Walk along the Elephant Terrace, once used for royal ceremonies.
- End at the Terrace of the Leper King, with detailed carvings.
Day 3:
Phnom Koulen Mountain One-Day Tour
Leave Siem Reap and drive to Phnom Koulen, the sacred mountain of Cambodia.
On the way, enjoy the countryside views before entering the mountain area.
Optional Trekking (for those who want adventure)
- Start trekking from the bottom of the mountain.
The trail is about 5 km through beautiful jungle, shady trees, and natural surroundings.
Reach the top where the cultural and natural highlights are waiting.
Main Highlights at Phnom Koulen:
- Thousand Linga River – an ancient riverbed with carvings of lingas and Hindu gods under the flowing water.
- Big Sleeping Buddha – a large reclining Buddha carved into the rock on the mountain top, an important pilgrimage site.
- Beautiful Cliff Viewpoint – stunning panoramic views across the Cambodian countryside.
- Huge Waterfall – the highlight of the trip! Relax, swim, and enjoy the fresh water surrounded by nature.Relax and Return , After swimming and exploring, enjoy some time to relax by the waterfall. Return to Siem Reap.
Day 4: Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary
Morning Departure
- Leave Siem Reap and drive to Mechrey floating village.
- Take a boat ride across the Tonle Sap Lake toward Prek Toal.
- Along the way, enjoy views of floating houses and daily lake life.
Arrive at Prek Toal
- Transfer to a smaller local boat and enter the bird sanctuary.
- Cruise slowly through the flooded forests.
- Spot rare and endangered bird species such as:
- Painted Stork
- Spot-billed Pelican
- Oriental Darter
- Grey-headed Fish Eagle
- Black-headed Ibis
- The sanctuary is one of the most important bird colonies in Southeast Asia.
Lunch & Village Experience
- Enjoy lunch at a local floating house, community center.
- Learn about the lifestyle of the Prek Toal floating community.
Afternoon Exploration
- Continue bird watching or take a short canoe trip into smaller flooded forest areas (depending on water levels).
- Relax on the boat as you journey back across the Tonle Sap.
Return to Siem Reap
Day 5:
Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
Morning Departure from Siem Reap
- Pick up from hotel and begin the journey to Phnom Penh.
- Stop at Kampong Kdei Bridge (Spean Praptos)
Visit the ancient Angkorian bridge from the 12th century, one of the longest corbelled stone-arch bridges in the world.
- A great place for photos and to learn a bit of history before continuing the trip.
Continue to Skun – “Spider Market”
- Take a short stop in Skun town, famous for its fried spiders, crickets, and other unique local snacks.
- Check in at the hotel and relax.
Evening Boat Cruise
- Head to the riverside for a 1-hour boat ride.
- Cruise along the Tonle Sap River and into the Mekong River, passing by the Royal Palace and Phnom Penh’s lively riverfront.
- Beautiful city views at sunset or in the evening when the skyline lights up.
Return
- Drop off at hotel after the cruise.
Day 6
Phnom Penh
Morning – Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda
- Begin the day at the Royal Palace, the official residence of the King of Cambodia.
- Explore the Silver Pagoda, famous for its floor covered with thousands of silver tiles and its Emerald Buddha.
- Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21)
Visit Toul Sleng Prison (S21), a former school that was turned into a prison during the Khmer Rouge regime.
Koh Dach (Silk Island)
- Cross the Mekong River by ferry to Koh Dach, also known as Silk Island.
- Visit local weaving families and watch the traditional silk-making process.
Return to Phnom Penh – Central Market (Phsar Thmey)
- On the way back from the island, stop at the iconic Phsar Thmey (Central Market).
- Explore its Art Deco architecture and shop for souvenirs, jewelry, fabrics, and local snacks.
- Transfer back to the hotel and relax after a full day of culture and history.
Day 7:
Phnom Penh to Koh Rong Samloem
Morning – Pick Up from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville.
- Depart Phnom Penh by toward Sihanoukville.
Enjoy the journey through Cambodia’s countryside with views of villages, farms, and rice fields.
Arrive in Sihanoukville – Boat Transfer
- On arrival, head to the pier for a speed boat / ferry cruise to Koh Rong Samloem.
The boat ride usually takes around 45–60 minutes, depending on weather and sea conditions.
Arrive at Koh Rong Samloem
- Be welcomed by the island’s white sandy beaches and crystal-clear water.
Relax, swim, and enjoy the island.
Day 8: Koh Rong Saloem

Day 10:
Last Day Program – Koh Rong Samloem → Sihanoukville → Phnom Penh Airport
Morning – Cruise Back to Sihanoukville
- Take the speed boat / ferry from Koh Rong Samloem back to Sihanoukville pier.
- Enjoy the last sea views as you leave the island. Arrive in Sihanoukville
- Meet driver at the pier. Transfer to Phnom Penh
Transfer from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh International Airport.
- Drive takes around 2 hours and half, passing through Cambodian countryside, small towns, and farmlands. Arrival at Phnom Penh Airport
- Drop off at Phnom Penh International Airport in time for flight check-in.
Important: Lunch will be provided daily from Day 2 through Day 6.
