Tour Details
We will come and pick you up after you’ve eaten breakfast around 8am.
We’ll then drive out to the countryside of Siem Reap and visiting to local market, families in the village growing vegetables, mushroom, rice wine distillation and then continue to visit Kampong Phluk fishing village.
Kampong Pluk Village
Kampong Phluk villages located on the great Tonle Sap Lake. In the dry season, the houses can be seen sitting on top of high stilts. When the lake floods, the houses sit just on top of the water. The local people here live their lives on the water and there are schools, markets and even clinics here.
You can also go to see the beautiful flooded forest. We can take the boat back to our transport and watch the sunset on the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia.
