Enjoy a fascinating journey through some of the most unique and beautiful sites in the Angkor region. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00am before heading north through the Cambodian countryside to Kbal Spean.

Known as the “Valley of a Thousand Lingas,” Kbal Spean is a sacred archaeological site hidden in the jungle. After a short hike uphill through the forest, you will discover ancient carvings etched directly into the riverbed and surrounding rocks. The site features hundreds of lingas dedicated to Shiva, as well as carvings of Hindu gods including Vishnu, Lakshmi, Rama, Hanuman, and Brahma. During the rainy season, the flowing water creates a magical atmosphere deep in the forest.

Next, continue to the stunning temple of Banteay Srei, one of the finest jewels of Khmer art. Built in the 10th century and dedicated to Shiva, this temple is famous for its incredibly detailed pink sandstone carvings. Often called the “Citadel of Women” or “Citadel of Beauty,” Banteay Srei is admired for its delicate decoration and elegant architecture unlike any other temple in Angkor.

Afterwards, explore the impressive ruins of Preah Khan, a vast temple complex built by King Jayavarman VII in the 12th century. Meaning “Royal Sword,” Preah Khan was once a major Buddhist monastery and learning center with thousands of residents and servants. Today, giant tree roots and jungle vegetation weave through the ancient corridors, creating a mysterious and unforgettable atmosphere.

For guests wanting an early start, a sunrise option is also available with hotel pickup around 4:30am. The tour lasts approximately 7–8 hours before returning safely to your hotel in Siem Reap.
